My Great Niece, Annas' Quilt
This was made from charm packs, young girls seem to love the colors. I
quilted it with butterflies and backed it with turquoise and blue flannel
|
My Great Nephew,
Cory's Quilt
Since Cory is an avid hunter, I made this from various woodland animal
prints in flannel. I quilted it with trees and various other
designs. |
Our Cousin Richies Quilt
This quilt was a class I taught in Lake Isabella, my new home. It is a
very scrappy quilt that everyone enjoyed making. I did a
meandering quilt pattern allover.
|
My Sister Debbies' Quilt
This was a Block of the Month quilt that took me 2 years to finish. I
worked on it mostly at lunch time at work. Every piece is
blanket stitched by hand. It was quilted by Mary Streeter in Hulett
Wyoming, her work is wonderful.

My
Quilt
This quilt was a sampler class I took with Mary Brewer, a local
quilt teacher. I wasn't real happy with the colors I choose, but I
entered it in our local quilt show and won 1st prize in the large quilt
category. This was also quilted by Mary Streeter. |
My Sister Judys' Quilt
This quilt is the result of insomnia. I remembered seeing
something like it at a quilt show and thought it would be a great way to
use my floral fabric stash. It reminds me of Judy's flowers in the
summer. I did not use bias tape between the blocks, I used 1"
black fabric strips. This was quilted by a friend, Judy Polintin.
It was awarded a Chairperson Choice ribbon and tied for 3rd place for the
Viewers Choice ribbon at
our local 2007 quilt show.

My Sister Renees' Quilt
I found this quilt in a book that I bought and fell in love with
it. It took many months to make. It had well over 1,000 1
1/2" half square triangles! I think it turned out
great. I did the quilting myself on my regular machine, what a
job! It reminds me of a garden Renee had once.
|
My Brother Duanes' Quilt
This is my first flannel quilt. I made it for my brother
who likes camping and fishing. I fussy cut the center square with
outdoor themed fabric. It should keep Duane warm on those long
Pennsylvania winter nights. I just straight stitch quilted it. |
My Quilt Again
I made this quilt for myself in a class with Mary Brewer. I
just love the sea foam green and the split 9 patch pattern. It is
queen size and I use in on my bed. This was quilted by Mary
Streeter also. |
My Sister Mary Dawns' Quilt
This is a paper pieced and pieces quilt. I made this in a star
block class given by Mary Brewer in Santa Clarita.
|
My Grandson Codys' Quilt
This is a paper pieced quilt and I discovered I love paper piecing doing
this one.

Tims' Quilt
My Sister Grorgeine's Grandson
|
Kims Quilt
I made this quilt for my daughter-in-law, Kim. It was at least 2 years in the making and one of the first quilts I
started to make. I let her choose any quilt she wanted from a
book. She is the first and only person I let choose a quilt.
I have learned my lesson. This quilt won 2 ribbons at our local
2007 quilt show, both were Chairperson Choice ribbons. Quilted by Mary Streeter of
Hulett, Wy. |

Terri & Lance's Quilt
Bear Paws in the Flower Garden
was finished a few days before Christmas 2007. The flowered
strips are blanket stitch appliqué and the Bears Paw blocks are machine
pieced. I really like the colors in this quilt. Quilted by
Mary Streeter.

My Brother Russells'
Quilt
October Sky
I saw one like it at a quilt show and it reminded me so
much of what my brother likes. I searched for a few months until I
finally found the pattern. It was awarded a Chairperson Choice ribbon
and tied for 3rd place for the Viewers Choice ribbon at
our local 2007 quilt show. It was quilted by Mary Streeter also. |
